Mmmm...when it's a little chilly outside, this is excellent by a patio fire pit. It's got a nice berry and dark fruit aroma with some spices like vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg mixed in. It's smooth with a nice long finish - that means it's not gritty or overwhelming on your tongue.
Food Pairings
This wine can easily be enjoyed by itself. It will warm your toes and your insides like a wool blanket and make you feel just as comfy. Try it with some marinated and grilled red meat - like a flank steak or even a simple burger. It can even go with meatloaf. Since this one has lots of fruity flavors, try it with some bacon wrapped apricots or dates. The smokyness of the bacon always tastes good with the sweetness of fruit.
